Padang-Padang, Uluwatu & Jimbaran

Morning starts late today as we had our Breakfast at 9am. I was feeling famished since we only had pizza yesterday night. So, I ordered the Nasi Goreng and my husband still with his American Breakfast.

We decided to cover the south part today à Jimbaran all the way!

First we key in something Botanical Garden but we ended up at the place where people can eat by the beach. We decided to check out the place and mark those that have Halal sign. We took the name card in case we need to book a table later.

We then key in Padang-Padang Beach and waze took us to a very secluded and bumpy road. It was through some village. We even go through a flood area. HAHAHAHA so much for an adventure, right?

Eventually, after long ride through road of nowhere, we finally arrive at Padang-Padang Beach. We took a couple of pictures at the sign and make our way to the entrance.

We paid the entrance fee and head down to the beach. You have to go through a staircase in between the rocks/cave. It is a little cluster phobic to go through it and you have to give way for people from going up with their surf boards.

The beach is magnificent!  Waters are near the staircase so not much sand to cover. I did play at the water a bit before heading back to the stairs and up again. We rest a bit under the shades and saw monkeys.

We then headed to our next stop which is *drums roll* the FAMOUS ULUWATU TEMPLE!

The view at ULUWATU TEMPLE is definitely breathtaking. I feel like I am on top of the world and I could fly! We stopped at every spots to take photos. We had to pay some entrance fee and put on some clothes to wrap around our waist.

The place is huge and we didn’t cover another side which requires us to go much higher. We made our way out and had a very nice huge coconut drinks under the shade.

Soon after we finish the drinks, we head back to the hotel to wash up and prayed. We went out again around 5pm to have our dinner by the beach while watching sunset.

We did get a nice table to enjoy both sunset and ocean view. We ordered a simple platter that has fish, prawn & squid. Taste-wise is okay and nice. Price is a bit high but the view is magnificent that it could top off the taste and price.

We had a few minute strolls at the beach after dinner and went back to Kuta. We stops at the Krishna Souvenir Shop to survey on what to buy and the price. Headed back to hotel afterward and call the night off.
