We had
our breakfast at the villa @ 9am. I ordered toast and omelet while my husband
ordered omelet and sausages. We also ordered banana crepes.
We
made our way to the Tegallalang Rice Terrace. Hike up and down the terrace. We
even made our way to the other side to take pictures. It is so green that it
somehow feels calm. We spend around one hour there. Sun was scorching hot so we
decided to buy water and rest a bit. Finally use the Polaroid Camera that I
borrowed from a friend.
At
12pm, we made our way to the Monkey Forest. Monkeys are a bit angst so I did
not dare to touch them. They even snare at our camera but we saw one cute baby
monkey. It is so tiny and cute that I felt like putting it in my bag. The place
is huge and we are already tired from the hiking at Tegallalang. So, we had our
pictures taken and exit out.
We
ride around Ubud and parked the motorcycle at the Royal Temple of Ubud and
walked around the shops. We found one Chinese-Muslim Restaurant and decided to
have our lunch there. After lunch, we head back to the Ubud Cultural Market to
buy some Tees for my husband’s sibling.
Soon
after we finished shopping, we head to Bebek Tepi Sawah and prayed there. We
then move to Pura Tirta Empul to see the place where they had their holy bath
or something like that.
We
had to pay an entrance fee and wrap a cloth around our waist. We did
eavesdropping on some tour guide explanation and had gain few knowledge. We
even get to see how they perform their prayer and offerings.
Once
done, we went back to the restaurant yesterday to have our dinner. We did make
a quick stop at the nearby convenience store to buy some bread and biscuits for
tomorrow breakfast. It was tiring and we decided to go back to the villa and
rest.
