Today
is our last day in Tanaya Bed & Breakfast. We had our breakfast a bit late
today. I ordered the Pancake again and my husband still the same menu. STILL.
After
breakfast we went out to get the motorcycle and return it back to the owner. We
walked a few shops away and return to rest at the room before checking out.
I
was feeling a little bit under the weather today. I am so exhausted due to long
ride yesterday and it’s taking its toll on me now. I already arrange a driver
to pick us up at Tanaya Bed & Breakfast to our new place in Ubud at 12pm.
The
receptionist called us saying that the driver already arrives. We made our way
to the counter and bid our farewell to the staff. We hopped in the van and talk
with the driver along the way. The drive took us around 2 hour.
We
arrived at Villa JJ & Ubud at 2pm and wait for our room to be prepared. We
were being served a welcome drinks while waiting. The villa is being surrounded
by paddy field and ducks. We can hear the sound of ducks every morning and
evening. The villa also has motorcycle to be rent if needed and free shuttles
at designated time which is very convenient.
Once
our room is ready, we settled in our room and rest a bit. Even though our room
is at far end, the WIFI is fast! I have no problem streaming an episode or two
of my favourite Korean dramas. We rent a motorcycle from the villa and head out
for a ride around Ubud.
It
started raining a bit so we had to turn another way. We had out dinner and the
Ayam Goreng Asli Prambanan. It is nice and simple and very filling. On our way
back to the villa, it rained heavily so we had to stop by at the shops. We
continue once the rain soothes a bit and got chased by some dogs. It was very
funny! I saw the dogs trying to chase us but thought they might give up but NO
they did not give up and continue to chase up. My husband had to ramp up the accelerator
and we were afraid of falling into the paddy fields since the roads were dark
and winding. Eventually, the dogs do give up and we laugh at ourselves all the
way to the villa.
I
had a very strong headache afterwards. It might be due to the rain and long
journey. I took a few Panadol and head off to bed. I think my husband watch his
football later that night.
