Tanah Lot

Subuh here is around 4:30 A.M.

We haven’t get the gist yet so we almost overslept and miss it but with the powers of The Flash, we made it in time. Since there is still time before 8am, we decided to go back to sleep and woke up at 7am.

We freshen up ourselves and head to the café and had our breakfast. They gave us a selection of choice which consists of American Breakfast, Nasi Goreng, Mee Goreng, Waffle & Pancake.

I ordered the Pancake while my husband ordered the American Breakfast. After breakfast we went back to our room. We prepared and packed a bit for today and head out to find motorcycle to rent.

Just outside out hotel, there this guy renting out motorcycle so we decided to try for a day rent @ RM21.

We stop by at Kuta Beach since it is near to our Hotel. Walk on the beach and took a few photos and make our way to Tanah Lot.

It was an hour ride from Kuta Beach to Tanah Lot and I was feeling a bit scared since I don’t do motor riding that often or ever for the pass year. The road is quite okay. Not that bumpy and shades are everywhere. We get to feast our eyes with vast greens of paddy fields along the way. We get to see the local people routine and had fun enjoying the breeze along the way.

We also spotted few street shops or they call em “warung” that sells Halal local food or even babi guling which is non-halal and quite famous in Bali.

Tanah Lot was amazing but the sun is scorching hot that my clothes were drenched in sweat! My husband looks amazing by the way despite all the sweat. =p

We spent 1-2 hours in Tanah Lot and headed back to Legian. We had our lunch at a local warung behind our hotel. After lunch, we headed back to our room to rest from the tiring motor riding and washed up and pray.

We went out again around 5pm to the Kuta Beach to watch the sunset together. Our first sunset together! Had a nice heart-to-heart conversation as a husband and wife and it is something to keep inside our hearts.

We decided to call off the night early since there’s “Beauty and The Beast” played on the TV that night. We head to Dominos for a Take Away and back to room and enjoy watching movie and pizza.
